About
YES stands for Young Entrepreneur Startup. YES Cafe is a restaurant located at Markham, Toronto and it is built for young adult's success. It is a social enterprise connected with BHP (Business with Higher Purpose). It serves as an experiential learning, incubation and acceleration food & beverage hub. It can also be turned into a private party venue for young entrepreneurs to run their respective businesses as well.
Strategy
The root of the cafe came from a unique and innovative business idea, and the client asked for a young, fun and friendly looking brand identity. Therefore, as a designer I chose a bold and unconventional looking font to create the logo. I also used orange and lime green as its main colours in order to portray the fun and friendliness of the brand.
Since the project itself is very unconventional, I also made it to look very distinctive and make sure it doesn't align to any competitor easily.
